“I’ll be back!” And back he is, but in another form. This time, our Terminator dude takes the appearance of a cybermouse. Now what are the odds of finding a T100 cyborg reincarnated into a cyber-rodent? Erm, ask Saitek, they might know a thing or two about cybernetic organisms and wars against machines.
We’ve seen some insanely precise mice from Saitek in the last couple of years, and now they managed to come with another 3200dpi laser gaming mouse design. The Cyborg mouse seems to be Saitek’s response to Logitech’s G9 customizer extraordinaire. The cyber-rodent may continue the Terminator legacy, but it also barrows some spiffy tricks from our trustworthy defenders of the Earth, the Transformers.
In this case, you can comfortably adjust the grip by sliding the front section forward or backward, rather than pop the outer shell off entirely. Its four-way scroll wheel also has adjustable speed settings, which Saitek says is unique for a gaming mouse, and also lets you change the strength of the wheel. The accuracy can be set between 400 and 3200 dpi on the fly. Moreover, two special buttons are “freely programmable” in addition to built-in media controls. Don’t forget those swappable weights, it’s a gamin-grade mouse, after all. If cyber things turn you on, you could be getting this for about $80.
